✦ Frequently asked questions
Questions before
the first turn.
Everything we can share so far about the game, the release, and the printable figures. Faith Engine is still in development, so answers will grow as Volume 1 comes together.
The game
What is Faith Engine?
Faith Engine is a cooperative card-and-dice tabletop campaign based on the seven seals in the book of Revelation. Players work together to protect the Remnant and endure through three acts until Christ the King arrives.
Is Faith Engine cooperative or competitive?
Cooperative. Everyone at the table plays on the same side against the pressure created by the event deck. You win together by protecting one Believer Army through the seals, not by defeating the Horsemen through force.
How does a turn work?
Every turn follows the Rule of Three. In the Tribulation phase you draw an event card, read the scripture aloud, and resolve its effect. In the Player phase you spend two actions to move, defend civilians, or play a Faith Blessing card. In the Attrition phase you resolve battles with a six-sided die, where a 4 to 6 is a success.
How is scripture used in the game?
Each of the seven event cards is tied to a passage, from the white horse of Revelation 6:2 to the final deliverance of Revelation 19:11–14. The passage is read aloud before its effect changes the board, so the story always leads the mechanics.
Release & availability
Can I buy Faith Engine yet?
Not yet. Faith Engine is still in development. The first figures can be previewed on the Models page, while terrain, card decks, and more figures are being built for Volume 1.
When will Faith Engine be released?
We haven’t set a release date yet. Join the release list on the Models page and you’ll be among the first to hear when Volume 1 is ready.
How much will it cost?
Pricing will be announced closer to launch. Release-list members will hear about pricing and availability first.
What is the table kit on the Models page?
It’s a pre-launch wishlist. Save the pieces you’re interested in, leave your email, and we’ll let you know when they’re available. Nothing is charged and no order is placed.
Figures & printing
Do I need a 3D printer to play?
We plan to offer the miniatures as digital STL files you can print at home, and we’re exploring physical kit options for players without a printer. Details will be shared before launch.
What is an STL file?
STL is the standard file format for 3D printing. You open it in slicer software such as Cura, PrusaSlicer, or Bambu Studio, which prepares the model for your printer.
Can I see the figures before they’re released?
Yes. The Models page has interactive 360° previews of the first-wave figures. Drag to rotate each one and inspect it from any angle.
Families, churches & groups
Who is Faith Engine designed for?
Families, youth groups, ministries, and tabletop players. The rules are simple to teach, and the campaign gives players real choices to make together.
Does it include material for group leaders?
Yes. After the fourth and sixth seals the game pauses for a leader-led intermission, with prompts that help a pastor, parent, or group leader connect what happened on the board to questions of trust, endurance, and hope.
